Peter Robbins / interview

November 7th, 2011

For over 30 years Peter worked closely with Budd Hopkins, during a chapter of history where the UFO abduction phenomenon first made it's way into the public's psyche. Together, Peter and I spend over two-hours in conversation about Budd and his life as an artist and researcher.

You go into denial in your most recent talk with Peter Robbins. And recently you’d posted a link to the dietsoap interview with jason horsley, in which he speaks to a type of experiance with denial that I’ve also experianced.

The odd expression overcomes the person. They’ll generally busy themselves with something in their hands. It’s almost like a switch has fliped. Not as if they’re ignoring you, But as if some mechinisim is actively tuning you out, from deep within. Simular to the look of regression upon receivng bad news.

It’s only happened a few times to me personally, and i generally talk about odd subjects. Though this always seems to happen when i’m coming close to overtaking whatever argument against my proposition they’re venturing. Almost exsact opposite of sharing a eurika moment with someone.

I think there’s something to this type of denile.
